Is the QR code free and does it never expire?
Yes. The code is generated right in your browser and works forever; it is not tied to our service and will not stop opening. No subscriptions and no watermarks.
Is my data sent anywhere?
While you type, the QR code is generated locally in your browser - nothing is sent to the server. When you click the download button, a copy of the finished code is sent to our studio so we can see which codes people create. You are publishing the contents of the code publicly anyway.
Can I put a logo in the center?
Yes, upload a PNG or JPG. For reliable scanning with a logo, the error correction level is automatically raised to H (30%).
Which format should I choose for printing?
For print, use SVG (vector, scales without quality loss) or a PNG at 2048-4096 px. For screen, 512-1024 px is enough.
What is error correction?
It is a data reserve that lets the code be read even if part of it is damaged or covered by a logo. L - 7%, M - 15%, Q - 25%, H - 30%.
How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?
Enter the network name and password. Your guest points the camera and connects to Wi-Fi without typing the password by hand.
