Batch Rename Photos with a Template
Upload a batch, set a template, get a ZIP with renamed files. Processing runs on our server, your files never go to the cloud.
Name template
The template supports the {n} placeholder for a sequential number. For example:
product_{n}→ product_001.jpg, product_002.jpgart-12345-{n}→ art-12345-001.jpg, art-12345-002.jpgring_silver_{n}→ ring_silver_001.jpg, ...
The number length is set by a separate option (3 by default, so 999 files fit with correct sorting).
When it helps
- Uploading a batch of products to marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy)
- Sorting a project photo report
- Preparing an archive to send to a client
- Standardizing naming across a catalog
How to use it
- Upload a batch of photos (up to 30 at a time)
- Drag them into the order you want (it drives the numbering)
- Enter a template, for example
product_{n} - Click Rename
- Download the ZIP with the renamed files
FAQ
Does the tool compress photos?
No, we only rename them. The files stay exactly as they were, just inside a ZIP with new names.
Is the format preserved?
Yes, the extension is taken from the source file. A JPG stays a JPG, a PNG stays a PNG.
What if I have more than 30 files?
Run several passes, or message us in chat and we will set up a batch API for bulk processing.
What are the limits?
Up to 30 files and 100 MB total. 10 batches per minute, 60 per day per IP.
