Content & Upload Policy

gdefoto tools (card constructor, photo-editing tools) let you upload images for processing. By uploading a file you confirm that you have the right to use it and that you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Prohibited content
- Pornography and any sexual content, images of nudity (18+).
- Violence, gore, and extremist or terrorist material.
- Other people’s personal data or images of individuals without their consent.
- Material that infringes the copyright or other rights of third parties.
- Malware or any other content prohibited by applicable law.
Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is absolutely prohibited. Where such material is identified it is reported to law enforcement. This is a criminal offence.
2. Moderation
We do not routinely inspect the content of your files and no person reviews your images during normal processing. We do, however, reserve the right to check any upload we have reason to believe breaches these rules, to block it and to refuse service, at our sole discretion.
Where we become aware of illegal content, we may record the minimum data necessary (such as IP address and time) to prevent abuse and, where legally required, report it to the competent authorities. Such data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security of the service and kept only for a limited period.
Ordinary users have nothing to worry about. If you are editing product photos, documents, or family and personal pictures, none of this affects you.
3. Files and storage
Uploaded images are processed in your browser and in server memory only. Files are not written to disk, not stored, not published anywhere, and no copy is kept once processing is complete. Because nothing is retained, you must download your result yourself: we cannot restore, resend or recover any uploaded or processed image later. Source files are never shared with third parties and are used solely to perform the processing you requested.
Exception: if you explicitly place an order for manual retouching by our specialist, the file you send for that order is kept only for as long as needed to fulfil it, and then removed.
4. Reporting a violation (notice and takedown)
If you find illegal or prohibited content on the service, tell us. We will review every report and remove any unlawful material without undue delay.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any processing result will meet your expectations. You use the service entirely at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site owner and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, loss of profit, loss of images or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
You are solely responsible for the files you upload, for the lawfulness of their content, for your right to use them, and for keeping your own backups. Since files are processed in memory and not stored, no uploaded or processed image can be recovered. You agree to indemnify and hold the site owner and its operators harmless from any claim, loss or demand arising from your content or your use of the service.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.
