How to convert a PDF page to JPG: for upload forms, slides and social posts
PDF to JPG: the short answer
Many upload forms accept only images. A visa portal wants a JPG of a signed page, a marketplace wants a picture of a certificate, a chat or a social network shows a PDF as a file instead of a picture. The fix is to turn the PDF page into a JPG or PNG image.
The widget below does it in your browser. Open the PDF, tick the pages you need, choose the format and the size, and download one image or a ZIP with all of them. The PDF and the images are not sent to our server.
Crop, fix the light with curves, clean up with the clone stamp and add a caption. All in one tab, no install and no sign-up.

- Product photos: crop, brighten the background with levels, remove dust with the clone stamp.
- Old photos: restore with AI, colorize and add a caption.
- Social posts: a canvas from a size template, your shot and text on top.
Editing is free. Download is watermarked; remove the mark for $2.99.
When you need a PDF page as an image
- Upload forms that take JPG or PNG only: a scanned contract page, a signed form, a diploma or a certificate.
- Slides and documents: put a page of a report or a chart into a presentation or a text document as a picture.
- Social posts and chats: a flyer, a menu or a price list made as a PDF shows up as an image in the feed.
- A preview of a long PDF: the first page as a JPG for a website or an email.
Do not want to fiddle with it? Hand the photo to a retoucher
Automation does not fix everything: a difficult frame, a photo that matters, an old print off a scanner. Where the algorithm gives up, a person works the picture layer by layer in Photoshop, by hand.

BeforeAfter⇆- Bring back sharpness in the face and eyes
- Remove noise and artefacts without plasticising the skin
- Fix colour, contrast and a broken exposure
- Remove scratches, stains and creases from an old scan
- Return a file large enough to print

We will finish your photo by hand
A studio retoucher fixes what automation cannot: sharpness, face, colour, defects. Pay first, then simply send the photo and tell us what you need. If we cannot do it, you get your money back.

How to convert with the widget
- Open one PDF file, up to 50 MB and up to 100 pages. If the PDF has a password, type it in the field that appears.
- Choose the pages: all of them, a range like
1-3, 5, 8-10, or tick them by hand. A click on a thumbnail also ticks it. - Choose the format: JPG with quality from 40 to 100 (90 by default) or PNG without loss.
- Choose the size: 96, 150 or 300 dpi. The pixel size of every page is shown under its thumbnail.
- Download a single page with the button under it, or press the main button: one page gives one file, several pages give a ZIP.
Which size to choose
The image size depends on the page size and the dpi you choose. For an A4 page the widget gives 794x1123 pixels at 96 dpi, 1240x1754 at 150 dpi and 2480x3508 at 300 dpi.
- 96 dpi: a light file for a screen, a chat or a quick preview.
- 150 dpi: the default. Text stays readable and the file is not heavy, which suits most upload forms.
- 300 dpi: for printing or when small text has to stay sharp.
One image is limited to 16 megapixels. A very large page, such as A3 at 300 dpi, is scaled down to this limit, and the caption under the thumbnail shows the real size. If a form has a file size limit, choose JPG and lower the quality or the dpi.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and drawn by PDF.js right in your browser. The PDF, the password and the images stay on your device.
Can I convert a password protected PDF?
Yes, if you know the password. Type it in the password field; if it is wrong, the widget asks again.
Why is the background white and not transparent?
Pages are drawn on a white background, so PNG files have no transparency either. This keeps the page looking the same as in the PDF.
How are the files named?
By the name of the PDF and the page number, for example report-01.jpg. The archive is called report-jpg.zip or report-png.zip.
Is there a watermark or a limit on files?
No. There is no watermark, no signup and no limit on how many PDFs you convert, one PDF at a time.
